“Our health and happiness depends on our willingness to connect with other people.”

— Shola R.

Meet Mel

I’m an orthopedic and neurofunctional physiotherapist & movement trainer. I truly value the connections I’ve been able to make during that time and am so happy to do the work I do today.

Having experienced a difficult rehabilitation journey myself, I know firsthand how challenging it can be. I went through a lot of stress and started to fear movement before finding the right rehab team. This experience sparked a commitment to help other people on their rehab journey. For that reason, I am driven to continue learning to better my approach so I can give you the best outcome and clinical opinion.

Through my work I have seen that there is a complex interaction between one’s body, movement and psychology. When one of those systems is off balanced it shakes up the others too. I have a great appreciation that injuries have both a mental and physical component that can interrupt so many aspects of your life. I am here to support and educate you through this time.
